Waynesboro Farmers Market

2009 Vendors

Scroll down to see each vendors' picture and contact information

New This Year:  Pre-Orders!

This is how it works.  You request from a vendor a specific item that they will have at the Market the following week.  You also may call or email the vendor at least by Saturday before the next market.  The vendor brings your items to the Waynesboro Farmers Market on Wednesday.  You pick it up at the Market before 6:30 p.m. and pay for it.  You may place an order for the next week, if you wish.  It is that simple!  This keeps you from missing out on the good stuff if you get there a little late.  Give it a try!  The vendors' contact information is listed below.

Childs Greenhouse is again offering plants to the home gardener. This year’s list includes ten unusual tomatoes, six hard-to-find hot peppers, and annual herbs (including basil, parsley, cilantro, dill). Also annual vines: heavenly blue morning glory, moon vine, trumpet vine, and cardinal climber. Seed starting is the specialty of this greenhouse, so call soon with any special requests. Early spring plants will be offered at the first Market. They include broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, kale, arugula, mizuna, and cress (cressy salad). Also, delightful mounds of mixed salad greens to grow in pots or in the garden.

Ice cream made the old fashioned way:  by hand in single batches, from scratch.  We pasteurize raw local milk from a family farm, crack 300 local farm eggs from pastured hens, fold in some organic cane sugar and our homemade organic pure vanilla extract.  And that's just one flavor.
