Smith Creek Watershed Initiative

This project will empower Smith Creek watershed landowners and residents to effectively apply restoration and conservation solutions for water quality and land use challenges in their community. To create a citizen-driven model that will support expanded conservation and restoration outcomes for the improvement of land and water resources in this targeted watershed. To empower citizens to undertake specific actions and projects that will restore and sustain the natural, economic, and cultural resources of the watershed and its communities. To improve water quality significantly; resulting in removal of Smith Creek from the impaired stream list.
