Shenandoah Valley Economic Study and Visit by Ken Meter

This project will strengthen regional agricultural economic development and build greater capacity for a local food economy in the Shenandoah Valley. The project goals include a study that will assess the economic impact of community-based food systems for the Shenandoah Valley and understand the economic benefits of expanding them.  We will also arrange visits between interest groups, local decision makers, and Mr. Meter to discuss practical ways to expand local food systems to create jobs, growth, and a stronger regional food supply.  (Area-wide)
