Invasive Species Workshop
For more information, please contact Kathy Holm at the Shenandoah RC&D Office. September 2008 The Nature Conservancy produced a brochure called Terrestrial Invasive Plants of the Potomac River Watershed. You can contact the Nature Conservancy at: www.nature.org/Maryland. The brochure gives suggestions about native, non-invasive plants to choose for landscaping. It also has the top ten invasive plants listed. You can download the brochure at: http://www.nature.org/wherewework/northamerica/states/maryland/files/mdinvasivebrochure.pdf
