Garden Coordinator/Manager for Sustainable Shenandoah Ag Impact

The Garden Coordinator position is requested and would facilitate the distribution process, making sure there is equal distribution of produce to those who put labor into the garden, and coordinating the sale of the remainder through local businesses and farmers markets.  This position would work 20 hours per month from April through October.  Coordinator would coordinate planting, harvesting, labor for food distribution, and the sale of produce.  Wholesale profits will go directly into the garden operation and management for 2011 and beyond.  Additional fundraising and membership fees for the Sustainable Shenandoah Group, will feed back into this and other educational projects, including workshops and seminars on elements of sustainable agriculture appropriate for the area.
