Friendly City Food Co-op The Shenandoah RC&D Council will grant $7,500 to the Friendly City Food Co-op to help defray costs associated with a Market Feasibility Study performed by Pete Davis of Cooperative Development Services in order to support the Co-op’s initiative to provide additional regional markets for locally grown food. This is contingent upon having all but proprietary information be made publicly available to other groups in the Valley that are working on local foods initiatives and trying to increase markets for local foods.
