Linda Campbell, Shenandoah
Valley Soil and Water Conservation District. Linda has
served as Chair of the
SVSWCD, having served 25 years on the board. She, and
husband Leith, own Khimaira Dairy Goat Farm
and Khimaira WebHosting Solutions in Page
County. Mrs. Campbell
has served as president of the American Dairy Goat
Association and the
U.S. Goat Council and has been active in local,
regional and national goat organizations since the early
1970’s. She serves as
Chair of a federal advisory board, the National
Sheep Industry Improvement Center
and a member of the Secretary of Agriculture's Foreign
Animal Diseases Advisory Committee, chairing the Goat
committee of the National Animal Identification System.
She is also a Board member of the Virginia Soil and
Water Conservation Board, and has served as President
of the Virginia Chapter of the International Society of
Soil and Water Conservation. Mrs. Campbell also serves
as an officer on the Board of Directors of the
Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce. She is the
author of several books and hundreds of magazine
articles, has served as contributing editor for national
and international magazines, and is a frequent invited
speaker for a wide variety of conferences. |
