Carl G. Luebben, Farm Bureau, is a retired agronomist who received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture in 1943 from the University of Maryland.  He majored in the dairy science and pre-veterinary curriculum.  He has been involved with production agriculture since 1949.  Mr. Luebben specialized in forage crop and grain production methods operating as a private consulting agronomist.  Since his retirement in 1996, he has continued to be active in solving agronomic problems.  At present, he is focusing on water quality and quantity issues that affect the farming community.
